This high-quality Uvaferm CM wine yeast is an ideal choice for fermenting stone fruits (e.g., cherry, plum) and berry fruits (e.g., blackberry, raspberry). Its outstanding cold tolerance (works from as low as 10°C!) allows fermentation even at lower temperatures.
Instructions for use:
- Dissolve the 20g of dried yeast in 2dl (10x the amount) of 35-40°C chlorine-free water while stirring continuously.
- Let it stand for 15 minutes.
- Important: The temperature difference between the yeast solution and the must should not exceed 10°C.
- If necessary, gradually acclimatize the yeast to the temperature of the must (in max. 10°C steps, with 5 minutes of standing time between steps).
- After thorough mixing, add the yeast to the must.
