Perfect size and design, a real little hideaway for cats.
The M size is great for my small to medium-sized cat. I added a thin soft blanket to the bottom, although it was fine as it was. He loves being able to hide in the dark den, but he can also look out if he feels like it. He often sleeps there for half a day and rolls around in it, liking to prop his legs up. It's a lasting piece, so it was worth the price.
