It has a Mediterranean feel, the way the sun shines through it... actually, it's not water-permeable, it's so tightly woven that if you put it up at an angle, you can collect rainwater from it, but for me, that's a positive thing :)

I ordered this type of sun sail because I wanted it to let some water through and not stop it, because where I installed it, there was no slope to drain the water. It lets it through to a small extent, so it doesn't break off under the weight. It filters the sunlight, it was a perfect choice.
