Does its job perfectly.

We've wanted a retro sandwich maker for a long time, and we found this to be the best value for money. It arrived quickly, within about 2 business days. It's made of relatively thin sheet metal, so you have to handle it carefully, but it has been making great sandwiches for months now.

I haven't had the chance to try it yet, as I bought the device for my Grandson, but I'm very hopeful.

It looks very similar to my old sandwich maker, and I can only hope that my Grandson, for whom I bought it, will be completely satisfied with the device's "knowledge". The fixing of the electric heating element is very simple, but I don't really think the back of the oven is strong enough to hold it stable in the long run. It is also not really practical in this device that if we bought it for non-daily use, then the heating unit must be re-installed and removed each time with the help of the two screws in order to put it in its box. In a word: I have great confidence in its performance, but I am a little skeptical about its "lifespan" being at least as long as my old device, which is still in operation today.
