SodaStream CO2 soda machine gas cartridge

The heart of the SodaStream system is the gas-filled cartridge. A full cartridge can produce 60-80 litres of soda water - depending on the carbonation.

HOW DO YOU RECOGNISE AN ORIGINALLY FILLED SODASTREAM CARTRIDGE?

Each cartridge has an expiry date and a lifetime. Genuine SodaStream cartridges are manufactured and filled in SodaStream's own factories and each refill is technically and safety checked. Defective cartridges found during the inspection are immediately withdrawn from the market by SodaStream, guaranteeing first-class quality and safe use.

SodaStream has not licensed or granted anyone else the right to fill its cartridges or to use them in any device other than SodaStream soda making equipment.

THE ORIGINAL SODASTREAM CARTRIDGE
Only cartridges manufactured and controlled by SodaStream are genuine SodaStream cartridges. You can identify an original SodaStream cartridge by the following characteristics:

1. a label on the cartridge with the SodaStream logo
2. Protective film on the valve

Only cartridges with these labels are guaranteed to ensure the safe and reliable operation of your SodaStream. Genuine SodaStream cartridges must comply with strict safety regulations and undergo quality control at our factories and filling stations in Germany or the Netherlands.
SodaStream has not licensed or granted anyone else the right to fill its cartridges or to use them in any device other than SodaStream soda making equipment.

Please note that if you use a non-original SodaStream cartridge in your SodaStream soda making equipment, SodaStream will not be liable for any damages (whether property damage or injury to body or health) caused by the use of the non-original cartridge. Any person who distributes a non-original SodaStream cartridge, but sells or distributes a cartridge designated as a compatible cartridge to consumers for his own profit, shall be liable for his own actions.

Please note that a cartridge is a high-pressure device that, if not filled properly or if strict safety precautions are not followed, can cause an explosion and serious damage to health or property.
Cases abroad testify to the fact that such incidents can unfortunately occur and that cartridge replacement therefore deserves maximum attention.

If you want to buy a SodaStream cartridge, always ask your retailer specifically for the original SodaStream cartridge, which should be marked with the above-mentioned characteristics and be easily recognisable, to avoid any mistake.
