The Bestway Flowclear sand filter pump is a great solution for keeping your above ground pool clean without additives and chemicals. The filter pump works on a natural filtration system: water is pumped into a tank filled with quartz sand, which traps dirt and particles, purifying the water. The ChemConnect dispenser ensures that the pool water is clean and healthy by providing a constant level of chlorine for the right chemical balance. The pre-filter basket is an optional accessory that catches larger debris (such as leaves, hairs, dirt); it also protects the pump impeller, contributing to the pump's smooth, continuous operation. This filter pump has a 6-position valve that can be adjusted in various settings for pool water filtration, shut-off (to stop the water flow), backwash (to clean the sand bed), flush (for initial start-up, cleaning and leveling the sand bed), drain and recirculation of pool water. The built-in timer also allows automatic setting of the operating period, and the design of the top clamp allows 360° rotation for quick and smooth installation. Note: Sand is not included.
