The Scheppach HMS 1500 is a combination machine for demanding DIY enthusiasts or for workshops where professional results are expected. The machine is suitable for both classical planing and thickening. Switching between the two functions is simple, no tools are required. The compact design minimises space requirements. The machine is easy to move thanks to the wheels mounted on the standard accessory stand and the large, adjustable push handles. The robust construction copes without problems with softwood or hardwood beams, slats, planks up to 260 mm. The powerful 2200 W motor and 2 steel blades rotating at 6500 rpm ensure a very clean and precise cut, which in practice means even finer cutting. The blades are very easy to change and the machine is very easy and comfortable to operate. Thicknessing height adjustment (max. 160 mm) is also easy with a rotating handle. Accuracy is further enhanced by the large, durable, quality cast aluminium planer table and the accurate and robust fitting stop, which can be adjusted from 90° to 135°. The thickening table is made of wear-resistant cast metal. The push rod and the suction connector are standard accessories, as are the fuses or the safety switch to prevent accidental starting.
