Uniform insulation
Insulation is provided by 50 mm thick polyurethane insulation material. The even distribution of insulation in Finlux boilers can reduce energy consumption by up to 10%.
Reducing energy loss
The special design of the fixing elements and the way they are connected to the boiler housing significantly reduces the formation of so-called thermal bridges, thereby reducing energy losses by up to 7.5%.
Stainless steel heating element
The main heating elements of Finlux boilers are made of high quality stainless steel. The manufacturer carries out a 500-hour control test (international standards require only 96 hours), during which the heating element is exposed to extremely corrosive conditions.
Overheating prevention
The thermostat automatically switches off the boiler before the water temperature becomes dangerous for the users, thus preventing the water from overheating.
Safety
When the operating pressure of the water heater increases due to high water pressure in the water pipe, the water starts to drip through the safety valve, warning the user.
Intelligent cleaning function
If the water temperature does not rise above 65°C for a week, the boiler automatically activates the intelligent cleaning function, preventing micro-organisms from colonising. The water temperature rises above 65°C and remains at this temperature for one hour. The "Intelligent cleaning" icon informs you when the function is activated.
Eco-code
The dynamic eco-function is activated when the water temperature is set to 55°C. This is the optimum temperature for the lifetime of the product and energy savings. With the dynamic eco function, you can achieve savings of up to 10% compared to conventional eco functions.
Protection against low water level
If water is missing from the tank, the disable algorithm is activated and the E3 error code is displayed. In this case, unplug the appliance from the mains socket and wait until the water level is restored.
Protection against low water temperature
If the water temperature in the boiler falls below 5°C, the boiler will automatically switch on and heat the water to 16°C.
Low voltage protection
Fluctuations in the supply voltage affect the main heating element, the electronic card and other electrical components. If the voltage drops to 160V or below, the Finlux water heaters will stop working until the voltage reaches the required value for operation.
