The spirit level meter is suitable for measuring the alcoholic strength of alcoholic liquids with or without a thermometer. The liquid is poured into a glass cylinder about 4 cm wide and at least 10 cm longer than the length of the graduated cylinder. The cylinder should be filled with liquid up to the colour after the insertion of the graduated cylinder. Carefully lower the clean and dry booster to a depth that will allow it to float in the liquid. Before taking the reading, make sure that the booster is floating freely and that it is not touching the wall or bottom of the vessel. Read the value shown on the upper menu on the spirit level scale. The booster is not suitable for a reliable measurement!
