Scheppach BASA 3 Band saw with stand

The Scheppach BASA 3 is a professional machine that combines most of the award-winning and unique technological solutions from the BASA range. This bandsaw offers much more than its competitors in its class. Its highlight is the very precise band guiding by means of three hardened, heavy-duty rollers, both in the lower and upper part of the table. Precise saw-band guidance is ensured by a large, specially centred and polished rubber-coated flywheel. It is part of the unique Vario Drive speed adjustment system. The upper clamping arm of the band saw can be adjusted by means of a rotary knob. The band saw blade can be changed in a flash thanks to the quick-release lever with simple construction. It has a solid moulding table that can be tilted from -8° to 45°. The worktable provides proper support for the material being machined. Thanks to its surface finish, friction is significantly reduced, so that the material can be moved precisely on it. The band saw can be fixed from both sides, has an accurate parallel guide and a scale with magnifying glass for better readability. The bandsaw has an excellent cutting height of 205 mm and a cutting width of 306 mm. The machine is equipped with a chip extractor connection. The sturdy metal stand on wheels and the retractable handle make the machine easy to transport. It is possible to choose between 230 V or 400 V motors.
