Cata - Cooker hood OMEGA 700 WH/M white
Cata, founded in Spain in 1947, is now the world's third largest manufacturer of cooker hoods. The stunning Cata Omega range fits perfectly into the world of modern kitchens and offers a high level of comfort. It has a maximum airflow of 1115/645 m³/hour. Capable of operating in both air extraction and recirculation modes. In the extraction mode, the vapour passes through the metal grease filter and is then discharged. Contaminated filters must be cleaned in warm detergent water or in a dishwasher. In recirculation mode, the extractor is not connected to the ventilation duct and fresh air flows directly into the kitchen. Thanks to its three speed settings, the extractor hood works efficiently in both small and large spaces. It is equipped with built-in LED lighting, two small lamps provide the right light. High quality illumination of the work surface provides additional comfort. Communication with the hood is ensured by a mechanical control panel (push button). Free outlet mode
If the air is discharged to the open air through a duct (i.e. used in exhaust mode), it must be connected to an opening with a diameter of 120 mm by means of a pipe connection. Do not discharge into ducts or chimneys used for combustion products! Ensure that when the cooker hood and other non-electric stoves or cookers are operated simultaneously, a sufficient supply of air is available. To ensure proper operation, air intake must be provided through doors, windows or other air inlets.
Is it not possible to exhaust the exhaust air outside the building?
The cooker hood can be used not only as an air extractor but also as an internal recirculation unit, so that the extracted air passes through an activated carbon filter behind the grease filter, which filters out unpleasant odours and returns the air to the kitchen air space. In this case the air transport capacity is reduced to some extent depending on the condition (saturation) of the carbon filter. For a more detailed description, see the optional carbon filter below.
