The Scheppach MIX 180 concrete mixer goes far beyond the category of hobby machines, with parameters and technical solutions approaching those of much more expensive professional machines. The machine is based on a large 180 litre mixing drum, which is large enough for professional work. The mixing bowl with its matching design blades ensures perfect mixing of the materials and its large volume ensures maximum capacity even when tilted. The bottom of the machine is specially reinforced by welding in order to withstand heavy loads. The shaft is not located between the 2 mm thick steel sections, as is usual in this category, but is complemented by two bearing arms in the 5 mm thick steel sections. This solution has a significant impact on the life of the machine. The powerful motor also has no problem in starting up a fully loaded concrete mixer. The motor has a unique design, both because of its double cooling and because of the motor protection drum with its ramified channels, which prevents water from coming into contact with the motor. The mixing drum and the engine are thoroughly insulated from each other for safe operation. All electrical parts are double insulated for operator safety. The mixing drum can be adjusted in several ways by means of a large diameter handwheel on the machine. This makes the concrete mixer very easy to use.
